Omegapure is the only pink salmon oil in the world.

Why is it pink?

Because it is made using a gentle, cool extraction process that retains the natural antioxidant which gives salmon its red colour. And because unlike all other fish oils, it hasn’t been boiled, bleached, processed, blended and shipped half way around the world.

Omegapure™ is sourced from 100% Australian farmed salmon, grown in the pristine waters of Tasmania. Other salmon oils are sourced using wild caught Alaskan Salmon – a precious, limited and dwindling resource.

Omegapure™ is harvested using a unique cool extraction process, which delivers a natural, unadulterated, whole food product. Other oils are boiled at 100 degrees – our oil is extracted at a cool 30 degrees C. Our salmon oil is then transferred into capsules at our site in New South Wales – so the whole process takes place in Australia.

Our salmon oil travels around 1600kms from its source to the market. By contrast, all other fish oils sold in Australia travel around 38,000kms before they arrive in Australia – roughly the distance around the world. Which is a rather hefty carbon footprint, by anyone’s measure.

Omegapure™ Tasmanian salmon oil has been created by the team at Complementary Medicines Group.

We are carrying on a long family tradition of involvement in the Australian Nutraceutical industry. Since the early 1970s the family has run contract manufacturing facilities and owned some of the best-known brands in the market.
